Frank is a senior scientist at the Integrated Systems Laboratory of ETH Zürich working as part of the PULP group as well as the director of Microelectronic Design Center that provides researchers and students, design tools and know-how for ASIC, FPGA, Embedded Systems and PCB design. He has his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Istanbul Technical University and Ph.D. degree from ETH Zürich. His speciality is in digital IC design and test, low power processor design and cryptographic hardware and he has been involved with the PULP project since its start in 2013.
