This kit has useful components to students of EEE, ECE, Electronic Science to learn their circuits like Filters, Oscillators, power control devices, magnetic fields in Motor coils, Transformers eddy’s, etc. It will be good to receive such kit to teach interactive class when teaching electronics/electrical topics and hands on learning to students. In my opinion, this kit can be very effective to have in the Students laboratory to perform and test their designed circuits.

Well will be sufficient for me but I don’t think an inductor itself will be much of a use but with correct allied components
I am sure it would win me a lot would use after I win which I highly doubt

I have been using Coilcraft power inductors for many years for many of our products

Obtaining RF coils and power inductors in small quantity for prototype testing has been very difficult. The kits seem to be a good starting point.

I already used some of coilcraft product (SMD power inductor mainly). And for now it did the job well.

RF Coils are most intriguing component. This kit could be very interesting.

That looks like a really great kit for anyone interested in this kind of thing.

the coils are treated lightly with distance, the problem is that it is difficult to measure induction correctly. and the kit includes ready-to-use coil design. There are design tools on the Coilcraft website, but the right core or winding wire is not always available.

To coilcraft, please security mark the kits in some way so that they don’t end up on ebay at rediculous prices like so many evaluation kits do, or if they do, show them for what they are.. profiteers taking away from the people who would actually use them.

As an engineering faculty, I think I could create a lot of experiments through this and give more ideas to my engineering students.

Will try to implement an SMPS MCU controlled Solar charge controller using a flyback topography which will use coilcraft magnetics.

We use these kits to educate and expand on student learning. Often what they come up with (in our advanced classes) is inspiring and surprising to me! It is often automation or robotic in nature (animatronic).

I have been deeply interested in analog design since the inception of my college years and recently have been into filter design. This kit would be a nice tool for someone like me to gain much more experience and also become better by understanding these concepts better with an hands on experience.

It will be useful for my students in the classroom and can do multiples labs and projects.

As a student it was always more difficult to think of Henries (1 uH/m) than Farads (10 pF/m). Coilcraft Kit sure helps my students.
