Contest Overview

Calling all makers, inventors, designers, and developers! Mouser Electronics and All About Circuits have partnered with Analog Devices, Maxim Integrated, and Microchip Technology to bring you the #makewithmouser IoT Design Contest.

Submit your IoT-inspired design ideas — just a sentence or two of what you plan to build — by January 22nd, 2021 via the form below for a chance to be selected as a semi-finalist who will win one of the six featured boards below. These boards will be awarded to 30 semi-finalists to help you turn your design idea into a working concept!

With the board in hand, you have until
April 23rd, 2021 to submit a project documenting the aspects of your design to be judged for the grand prize: an iPad Air 256 GB (valued at $749 USD).

The three grand prize winners will be announced on May 7th, 2021.

Take a look at the information below, get your creative juices flowing, and be sure to submit your ideas by January 8th!

#Makewithmouser Contest Timeline

1st Phase: Idea Submission

Project idea submissions accepted via the registration form on the contest page of the All About Circuits website through January 22nd, 2021. Remember to select the board you’d like to receive if you are selected as a semi-finalist!

Our innovation is a precise sensing and analytics solution integrating IoT with IOTA for dairy farm production and supply chain. It is aimed to measure CO2, air temperature, air humidity, liquid temperature, and the air pressure inside the containers of the milk storage, which ensure the freshness and quality of milk for expanding agricultural solutions to the cold chain, especially dairy farm.

I am going to develop wifi-based thermometer with “Microchip Technology SAM-IoT WG Development Board”. This device has touch-less body temperature sensor (MLX90614) that takes measurement of patient body temperature and pass it to AWS/Google IoT platform using MQTT. Where these measure get saved. This device has mobile application that will read temperature measurement from AWS and display patient care taker and the doctor Android phones. Further more these saved temperature measurements can be fed to AI anomaly detection model and build an AI model to check whether the patient is getting well and how long will it take to get well.
