Microchip Giveaway: Win a SAM-IoT WG Development Board, Presented by Mouser Electronics

Microchip Technology SAM-IoT WG Development Board is a small and easily expandable demonstration and development platform for IoT solutions. This development board features the SAMD21G18 Arm® Cortex®-M0+ based 32-bit microcontroller, ATECC608A CryptoAuthentication™ secure element IC, and the fully certified ATWINC1510 Wi-Fi® network controller. 

The SAM-IoT WG Development Board features TEMT6000 light sensor and MCP9808 high-accuracy temperature sensor. Additionally, the board features a USB interface chip Nano Embedded Debugger (nEDBG) that provides access to a serial port interface.

  • SAMD21G18 32-bit microcontroller:
    • 256KB flash memory and 32KB of SRAM
  • ATWINC1510 WiFi module:
    • Single-band 2.4GHz b/g/n IoT network controller a pre-certified module
  • ATECC608A CryptoAuthentication™ device:
    • Protected storage for 16 keys, SHA256, AES-CCM, Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman (ECDH), and ECDSA
  • Other board features:
    • Four status LED's:
      • Blue LED indicates a connection to Wi-Fi network
      • Green LED indicates a connection to the Google cloud servers
      • Yellow LED indicates a packet of sensor data has been successfully published to the Google cloud MQTT servers
      • Red LED indicates an error occurred
    • Two mechanical buttons
    • TEMT6000 light sensor
    • MCP9808 temperature sensor
    • mikroBUS header to interface to MikroElektronika click Boards™

    I am working on a IoT plant health monitoring system and deploy it in my garden. This board with its Low power qualities seems best for my application. Would be happy to have one!
