Intel Aero Compute Board
Intel’s Aero Compute Board is designed for UAV developers and researchers. It includes a 64-bit quad-core Atom x7-Z8700 processor, dual band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, 32GB of storage, and 4GB of LPDDR3 and runs a yocto-based embedded Linux OS.
The board includes USB 3.0, micro HDMI, microSD, an M.2 connector for PCIe SSDs, and has a reconfigurable IO port connected to the Atom CPU through an Altera MAX10 FPGA. Multiple camera interfaces are included, and the available Vision Accessory zkit provides an Intel RealSense camera with depth measurement for obstacle avoidance and navigation, an 8MP camera, and a VGA camera.
