Texas Instruments INA180/1 Current Sense Amplifiers

TI’s INA180 and INA181 current sense amplifiers with a common mode voltage range of -0.2 V to +26V, regardless of the supply voltage used, which ranges from 2.7 V to 5.5 V. The devices have a 350 kHz bandwidth and integrate a matched resistor gain network that results in a max gain error of 1% and reduces thermal drift, with four gain options available. The INA181 adds a bidirectional current sensing capability using a voltage applied to the REF pin to offset the output voltage, with positive and negative currents resulting in an output above or below the reference voltage. INA180 and INA181 current sense amplifiers are ideal for motor control, battery monitoring, power management, lighting control, and overcurrent detection.
