E/E Architecture Transformation and the µC Families for Zone Controllers

In partnership with Infineon Technologies
Start Time:

The automotive E/E Architecture is in a transformation to a zonal architecture. While the Power Distribution is electrified and decentralized, the In Vehicle Network is centralized to central car computers. Common for both are the introduction of zonal ECUs. In this webinar, you will get a short warmup on such Zone Control Units with a closer look on the microcontrollers inside and a special focus on the Infineon AURIX™ microcontrollers. In addition to the existing AURIX™ TC3x family we will provide an outlook on the soon-to-be-released AURIX™ TC4x family and in particular its strengths as Zone Controller.

Key takeaways:

•    Get an overview on the functions of a Zone Controller
•    Understand the main requirements for microcontrollers inside zonal ECUs and why Infineon AURIX™ TC4x is perfectly suited for:
         -Performance & Versatility
            - Rich connectivity features
           - Safety & Security
            - Freedom from Interference
