ADVANTECH ICR-3211B Industrial IoT LTE Router & Gateway

The Advantech ICR-3211B Industrial IoT LTE Router and Gateway combines LTE connectivity, multiple interfaces, and powerful processing to provide remote I/O and intelligence at the edge. The ICR-3211B provides LTE Cat M1 connectivity which is ideal for IoT and machine-to-machine connectivity. Providing a 375kbps upload and download in half duplex mode and support for VPN tunneling for secure access. The routers are intended for the North American market. It has Global LTE Cat M1 coverage with GSM fallback and is certified for AT&T and Verizon. It has dual SIM slots and eSIM ready for carrier failover redundancy. The router has an SMA connector to connect to an external antenna. 

The ICR-3211B operates on an open Linux platform that supports Python, C/C++, Node-RED, and more. It has a 1GHz Arm Cortex A8 CPU with 512MB RAM and 4GB of eMMC Flash, with 1.3GB allocated for customer software and data. This enables complex customer applications to bring intelligence to edge nodes. It has a dual 10/100Mbps RJ-45, 1x RS232/RS485 terminal block. The router has a backup real-time clock and supports sleep mode.

The ICR-3211B has a robust metal enclosure with DIN and wall mount options, and it can operate from -40°C to +75°C. It is supplied by a 9VDC to 36VDC power supply and has built-in reverse polarity protection. It also has a last-gasp supercapacitor to ensure the safe transmission of power failure data or the last processed data. The device can be configured via WebAccess/DMP, which can also monitor devices of mass deployments.
