Amphenol SM-PWM-01C SMART Dust Sensor
Amphenol Advanced Sensors SM-UART-04L Laser Dust Sensor offers fast, high accuracy PM2.5 measurements for indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring, air cleaners and purifiers, and HVAC systems.
The sensor’s laser-based detection can differentiate between small and large particles based on the received pulse pattern, providing both PM2.5 and PM10 outputs. The measurement system features a wide detection range and a 3.3V UART output.
The SM-UART-04L is housed in a compact, metal enclosure that can be mounted in multiple orientations for improved design flexibility, and a 40,000 hour average calibration interval allows for long-term trouble-free operation. It operates from a 5V supply with a 60mA typical current consumption.
