Amphenol Advanced Sensors Type FL NTC Temperature Sensor

The Thermometrics Type FL Low Profile NTC Temperature Sensor integrates an NTC chip thermistor in a flat, flexible circuit that conforms to the contours of whatever it’s applied to.

This sensor is AEC-Q200 qualified and designed for tracking the temperature of battery packs in EVs and HEVs.  The sensor has a thin film protective coating, but maintains a low profile with a max thickness of 1.0 mm., allowing it to be placed in the tightest spaces for optimum temperature sensing.

The Type FL temperature sensor can measure from -40°C to 80°C, and it has a low mass for a fast response to temperature changes.

  • NTC chip thermistor in flat, flexible circuit (FFC)
  • Flexible PCB conforms to contours
  • AEC-Q200 qualified — ideal for EV/HEV battery pack temperature sensing
  • Low profile: 1.0 mm. max thickness at sensor end, 0.18 mm. max at contact end
  • Operating temperature range: -40°C to 80°C
  • Low mass for fast response
