Amphenol Communications Solutions SAS/PCIe 5.0 (U.2 & U.3) Connectors
The Amphenol Communications Solutions SAS and PCIe 5.0 connectors come with 32 gigatransfers per second PCIe lanes and 24 gigabit per second SAS lanes to meet the demands of next-generation servers.
The 68-position SAS and PCIe receptacle and header enables implementation of a high speed SAS hard disk drive interface as well as PCIe-based devices.
The footprint is backward compatible with 12G, 6G and 3G SAS connectors.
Staggered contact lengths provide sequential contact mating for hot plugging.
The molded guide post allows device plug and receptacle to self-align during the mating process. With a halogen-free high temperature thermoplastic, these connectors are made to withstand diverse conditions. It also offers a durability of 500 mating cycles.
