AMPHENOL SOCAPEX MDP FTV Mini DisplayPort Connection System

The Amphenol Pcd MDP FTV Mini DisplayPort Connection System is designed for harsh environments, creating a complete ruggedized solution around the Mini DisplayPort standard.

The system uses a Tri-Start threaded coupling mechanism (MIL-DTL-38999 series III type) to mate both the plug and receptacle.

This solution allows users to insert a standard mini DisplayPort cord set into a metallic plug to protect it from dust and fluids as well as mechanical shock, vibrations, salt spray, humidity and more.

Users can assemble the ruggedized plug without tools making it easy to assemble directly on the field. With over 500 mating cycles, improved EMI protection, and the ability to support 8K ultra-high definition displays, these connectors are ideal for data acquisition and transmission equipment in harsh environments such as radars, shelters, ground vehicles, and battlefield communications.
