Analog Devices Energy Metering ICs with Autocalibration

Analog Devices’ ADE9153A is a high accuracy energy metering IC with mSure autocalibration to support Class 1 and Class 2 meters. The IC integrates mSure current and voltage drivers that allow for automatic calibration based on direct measurements of the full current and voltage signal paths, and doesn’t require a reference meter or other sources. The ADE9153A also includes three high-performance ADCs connected to a DSP that provides an extensive metrology feature set, including support for various active and reactive energy standards and power quality measurements. The ADE9153A can be used with current transformers or shunt resistors, operates from a 3.3 V supply, and is available in a 32-lead LFCSP package.

  • mSure Autocalibration: Class 1 meter guaranteed
  • mSure drivers: direct measurement of full signal path
  • 3x High-Performance ADCs: 88 dB SNR
  • Measurements: WATT, VAR, VA, Wh, VARh, VAh
  • Supports active and reactive energy standards
  • Package: LFCSP-32, 5.00mm x 5.00mm x 0.75mm
