Analog Devices presents the Voyager 3 Platform, a MEMS-based wireless vibration monitoring platform for accelerating asset monitoring deployment.
The mote’s signal chain includes a tri-axis, ultra-low noise ADXL356 MEMS accelerometer, a low power 16-bit AD7685 analog-to-digital converter (ADC), an ultra-low power ADuCM4050 microcontroller and a robust low power, SmartMesh* wireless radio.
The outputs of the accelerometer are digitized via the low powered ADCs before being converted into frequency domain by the microcontroller for transmission via SmartMesh Chip. The SmartMesh chip allows the data to be streamed wirelessly to the SmartMesh IP Manager which connects to a PC so that data visualization and storage can take place.
