AVX Kyocera Automotive Clock Oscillators
AVX Kyocera MC2016K are 1.5 to 80 MHz clock oscillators for automotive applications, including radar, cameras, ethernet, and V2X. The MC2016K series are AEC-Q200 and Q100 qualified, and they use a 2016 size crystal on a PCB carrier to improve the strength of the solder joint. The crystals have very low frequency aging due to a higher annealing temperature, and they offer very tight frequency tolerance across their operating temperature. The oscillators have a CMOS output, support 1.8, 2.5, and 3.3 V supplies, and have low operating and standby current consumption. The series is also available in a low-phase noise version and on carrier boards up to size 7050 for design flexibility.

- Frequency aging: ±3 ppm/year
- Frequency stability: -40°C to 125°C = ±100 ppm; -40°C to 85°C = ±50ppm
- Supply voltage: 1.6 V to 3.63 V
- Current consumption: active = 2.5 mA to 8.0 mA; standby = 5 µA
