Bourns TBU-DB-Q TBU High-Speed Protectors

Bourns TBU-DB-Q series of Bourns’ TBU High-Speed Protectors are high-speed, two-channel bidirectional circuit protection ICs. The TBU-DB-Q uses low-capacitance MOSFET technology and triggers into its current-limiting state in 1µs at a level of 100mA, ensuring sensitive downstream circuitry is protected during transient events. The devices are rated for peak surges up to 550V and sustained overvoltages up to 450V. The device is rated for operation from -55°C to +125°C and is AEC-Q101 compliant for use in automotive applications. It is also ideal for factory automation, process control, test and measurement, RS-485 interfaces, and other applications that require fast, low-capacitance protection devices.

  • Trigger time: 1µs
  • Trigger level: 100mA
  • Peak impulse voltage: 550V (< 10ms)
  • Peak DC voltage: 450V (< 1hr)
  • Operating temperature: -55°C to +125°C
  • AEC-Q101 compliant
