Coilcraft Magnetics for PoE/+ Applications
Coilcraft offers a full range of magnetics optimized for use in Powered Devices in a wide range of PoE applications.
Coilcraft power transformers are available for traditional PoE standards as well as IEEE 802.3bt and extended power applications, delivering anywhere from 3W to 120W to the powered device. Coilcraft offers transformers with a variety of output voltages, from as low as 3.3V and up to 48V, providing designers the regulated output and isolation needed to meet the power requirements of a variety of PoE devices.
Transformers are available for flyback and forward or active clamp forward topologies, with flybacks ideal for higher voltage and lower current output and cost-sensitive designs, while forward topologies enable higher efficiency.
