CUI VMS-450B 450W AC-DC Medical Power Supplies are ideal for medical and dental applications that require a compact and reliable power supply.
Medical power supplies require means of operator protection, or MOOP, and means of patient protection, or MOPP, with two MOPP being the highest classification. CUI’s VMS-450B is safety certified to the latest IEC 60601-1 Edition 3.1 for two MOPP applications. The supplies also meet IEC 60601-1 4th edition EMC requirements. Meeting the latest standards simplifies the compliance process for medical devices in any region of the world.
The supplies provide a 450W output in a compact footprint as small as 3” x 5” x 1.5”. They include integrated PFC and can operate from a universal 100VAC to 240VAC input, providing compatibility with AC mains voltages across the globe. The supplies are available with a fixed output ranging from 12V to 56V and operate at up to 92% efficiency. They also offer a separate 12VDC fan output and a 5VDC auxiliary output.
The VMS-450B series is available in multiple variants to address mechanical and cooling needs in various applications. These include open-frame or metal case configurations, with fanless, top fan, or side fan options available on the metal case configurations. They also include over voltage, over current, over temperature, and short circuit protections.
