CUI’s PBO-3 and PBO-5 Ultra-Compact Open Frame AC-DC Power Supplies
CUI’s PBO-3 and PBO-5 series are 3 W and 5 W ultra-compact open frame AC-DC power supplies with efficiency up to 80%. Both series are available with output voltages from 3.3 to 24 volts and operate on AC inputs from 85 to 264 volts. PBO-3 and PBO-5 supplies provide 3000 VAC isolation from input to output, meet UL and EN 60950-1 standards, and meet EN55022 Class B limits for radiated and conducted emissions.
The supplies include overcurrent and short circuit protection, with a zener clamp diode for overvoltage protection on 5 W models. They use a straight-pin SIP package, with the 3 W PBO-3 series also available in bent-pin configurations. CUI PBO-3 and PBO-5 supplies are ideal supplies for industrial systems, automation equipment, security, telecom, and smart home devices.
