Cypress’ FL-L NOR Flash memory family provides embedded systems operating at extended temperatures with storage of critical data.

FL-L NOR Flash Memory Family

Cypress’ FL-L NOR Flash memory family provides embedded systems operating at extended temperatures with secure storage of critical data.  

FL-L NOR Flash devices use 4KB sectors and a 256-byte programming operation for code and data storage. Individual and region protection is available, including individual block locking, and setting the pointer region.  

The devices are AEC-Q100 qualified and support read speeds up to 67 MB/s, making them ideal for ADAS, automotive instrument clusters, and infotainment systems, as well as IoT devices, industrial control, and smart factory equipment.

  • Interface: SPI with Multi I/O and DDR option
    • Supports 66 MHz DDR operation
  • Read bandwidth: Up to 66 MB/s
  • Read modes: Burst Wrap, Continuous (XIP), QPI
  • Erase architecture: 4 KB sector, 32 KB half block, 64 KB full block, full chip
  • Packages: BGA-24, SOIC-16, WSON-8
