Ethertronics and Kyocera AVX provide an evaluation board for antenna band switching performance.
This evaluation board provides superior RF field containment and uses standard products for a faster time to market. The standard products include the FR4 embedded LTE antenna 1004795 and the EC646 antenna switch for band switching and aperture tuning.
The 45.5mm by 60mm board is rated for operating temperatures spanning -40 to +85°C.
This evaluation board features a battery holder to power the switch and enables the device to actively test the performance.
With a low band frequency range from 698 to 960 MHz and a high band frequency range from 1710 to 2170MHz, the board includes a 50 Ohm unbalanced feed point impedance and a female SMA connector.
The board is suitable for IoT devices, M2M industrial devices, trackers, and home automation markets.
