Hirose Electric ER8 Board-to-Board Connectors
Hirose Electric ER8 Board-to-Board connectors are robust and compact high-speed connectors for use in applications including commercial devices, motor control, medical equipment, and industrial machinery. The ER8 series are 0.8mm pitch connectors with a staggered GSSG arrangement and 85Ω differential impedance. The connectors are optimized for signal integrity performance, meeting 10Gbps IEEE802.3ap specs for insertion loss to crosstalk ratio with significant margin.
Connectors are available with various stack heights and in vertical and right-angle configurations with 10 to 120 positions. A large mating guide eases plug insertion, and long contact wipe length ensures a reliable connection in high shock and vibration applications.
