Hirose Electric MF11BMT series connectors are waterproof optical connectors with robust metal shells. The MF11BMT series is an IP67-rated connector for use in harsh environments. It supports up to 4 mm diameter cable assemblies with MT ferrules—with up to 24 positions. The connectors use a bayonet lock mechanism for easy and secure installation and removal for up to 5000 mating cycles. Square flange panel mount and bulkhead screw type receptacles are available, and the plug and receptacles can be cleaned with MPO cleaner. The connectors have an operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C and offer high vibration and shock resistance. Applications include broadcast cameras and other devices requiring a rugged, waterproof fiber optic connection.
