Infineon XENSIV™ PAS CO2 Sensor
Infineon Technologies XENSIV™ PAS CO2 Sensor is a solution to track the CO2 levels for improved health, productivity, and overall well-being. Poor ventilation can result in lower oxygen levels and a build-up of carbon dioxide (CO2). Even moderate levels of CO2 can harm health and productivity.
The XENSIV™ PAS CO2 Sensor provides high performance in a small size. This disruptive CO2 sensor is based on photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) where the MEMS microphone detects the pressure change generated by CO2 molecules within the sensor cavity. The CO2 concentration is then delivered in the form of a direct ppm readout thanks to the integrated microcontroller.
Highly accurate CO2 readings are guaranteed over a wide operating temperature and high humidity environments since the absorption chamber is acoustically isolated from external noise.
