This New Product Brief (NPB) is part of a video series highlighting the features, applications, and technical specs of newly-released products.

Littelfuse PolySwitch Resettable PPTCs

Littelfuse TSM250 PolySwitch Resettable PPTCs are designed for secondary overcurrent protection in telecom applications.

The TSM250 features two resistance-matched 250V PPTCs in a single surface mount package to reduce board space and improve assembly efficiency. Littelfuse TSM250 PolySwitch PPTCs have low parasitic capacitance and a flat impedance response over frequency for consistent and reliable operation.

The devices provide tip and ring overcurrent protection with a fast time to trip. The PPTCs can handle very high voltage surges and are designed to protect against power cross and power induction surges, aiding compliance with various ITU-T and Telecordia certification requirements.
