Littelfuse SB5000 Industrial Shock Block
The Littelfuse SB5000 Industrial Shock Block is a personnel protection device designed to meet the requirements for special-purpose GFCIs defined by UL 943C and is installed in-line between incoming power or existing overcurrent protection device and the load.
The shock block is available as either a 208 volt Class A GFCI, a 480 volt Class C GFCI, a 600 volt Class D GFCI, and an Equipment Ground-Fault Protective Device. The wide range of options simplifies planning and operator familiarity with multiple applications.
The Industrial Shock Block includes a discrete fourier transform harmonic filtering, an automatic self-test feature and is compliant to the UL 1998 Software in Programmable Components standard.
The shock block features a minimum trip time of less than 20 milliseconds to reduce the risk of ventricular fibrillation for leakage current of 250 milliamps and above. The EGFPD options include selectable trip levels for extra safety.
