This New Product Brief (NPB) is part of a video series highlighting the features, applications, and technical specs of newly-released products.

Mean Well DDR DC-DC Converters

Mean Well’s DDR family of DIN Rail DC-DC converters can address a broad range of applications, with power ratings from 15W to 240W. The converters offer fast and convenient installation, and the family includes models that comply with ITE and railway standards. The converters offer wide 4:1 or 2:1 input ranges and output options from 3.3V to 48V, with efficiency up to 92.5%. The Mean Well DDR family is a fanless design with ultraslim dimensions, but still provides 4kVDC I/O isolation and a full set of input and output protections. To address startup requirements and larger loads, the 120W and 240W models support 150% peak load capability, while the 240W converters can be configured for current sharing to drive loads up to 960W.

  • Input range: 4:1 (15W to 60W) or 2:1 (120W and 240W)
  • Output voltage: 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V, 48V
  • Efficiency: up to 92.5%
  • I/O Isolation: 4kVDC, reinforced
  • Protections: short circuit, overload, over voltage, input reverse polarity, input under voltage
  • 150% peak load capability (120W and 240W only)
