Microchip Technology 24AA04/24LC04B/24FC04 4K I2C Serial EEPROMs

Microchip Technology 24AA04/24LC04B/24FC04 are 4K I2C Serial EEPROMs that are AEC-Q100 qualified and based on low-power CMOS technology.

The EEPROMs operate from a  single supply as low as 1.7V while drawing just 1mA and 1μA. They feature a 2 wire serial interface that is compatible with the I²C protocol, and the different part numbers support clock frequencies up to 400kHz or 1MHz.

The devices provide robust operation with Schmitt trigger inputs for noise suppression, ESD protection greater than 4000V, and output slope control to eliminate ground bounds.

The EEPROMs are organized as two blocks of 256x8-bit memory with a 16-byte page write buffer and hardware write-protect functionality. They are offered in multiple surface mount and through-hole packages and in industrial and extended temperature range variants.
