Molex Contrinex Inductive and Photoelectric sensors are robust sensors in compact housings and provide excellent sensing performance in challenging applications.

Contrinex Photoelectric sensors use proprietary UV sensing technology that enables detection at up to 50m, or up to 1200mm for transparent objects. Contrinex inductive sensors can detect objects up to 40mm away, or four times the range of standard sensors, for flexible placement and less chance of contacting and damaging the sensor.

Both types of sensors have an integrated ASIC that ensures consistent performance and provides an IO-link interface for data transfer and parameter setting. They have rugged, single-piece metal housings and are rated up to IP69K, making them suitable for the most extreme applications.

Molex offers the Contrinex Inductive and Photoelectrics sensors in multiple shapes and sizes, including subminiature options for use in narrow spaces.
