Molex LTE and GPS 2-in-1 External Antennas | AAC Digital Datsheet
AAC’s Digital Datasheet video series introduces the specs and applications of components—both new and familiar—straight from their datasheets.
Molex LTE and GPS 2-in-1 External Antennas
Molex LTE and GPS 2-in-1 external antennas are designed for reliable asset tracking, remote monitoring, and infrastructure solutions in addition to connected home applications.
The antennas integrate LTE and GPS antennas in a compact 75-millimeter diameter housing that’s under 15 millimeters thick and made from an impact-resistant ABS plastic. The antenna covers multiple LTE bands in addition to the GPS L1 frequency of 1575.42 MHz.
It provides excellent RF performance, with low VSWR, low noise figure, and high gain, and the LTE antenna can handle inputs up to 2 watts. The underside of the antenna has pre-applied foam tape and an M12 threaded post to provide secure screw mounting. It also has two 500 millimeter coax cables with SMA connectors to connect to the host.
