Cree XLamp XP-L2

Cree XLamp XP-L2 are white, lighting-class LEDs intended for directional, roadway, low and high bay, and high-end portable lighting.

XP-L2 are drop-in upgrades to existing designs based on Cree XP-L LEDs, sharing the same 3.45 mm square package, but offering improved lumen density, a slightly lower forward voltage, and better reliability. The XP-L2 LEDs leverage elements of Cree’s SC5 silicon carbide technology platform that allow reliable operation at higher temperatures.

Combined with a thermal resistance of 2.2 °C/W, XP-L2 LEDs can be used with smaller heatsinks while their high lumen density allows for smaller optics.
