Nexperia 175° Automotive MOSFETs | New Product Brief

July 27, 2019 by Mouser Electronics

These transistors are offered in single and double configurations up to 100V and 15A.

This New Product Brief (NPB) is part of a video series highlighting the features, applications, and technical specs of newly-released products.

Nexperia 175° Automotive MOSFETs

Nexperia LFPAK High-Power Bipolar Transistors use a solid copper clip in place of traditional wire bonding, enabling DPAK-like performance in half the footprint. These transistors are offered in single and double configurations up to 100V and 15A.

The devices have lower package resistance, resulting in higher efficiency and less heat generation, while also offer high power dissipation. The package measures just 5mm x 6mm with a low 1mm profile, and the elimination of bond wires also makes the package more reliable and mechanically rugged.

Nexperia LFPAK High-Power Bipolar Transistors are AEC-Q101 qualified and suitable for applications up to 175°C.

  • 25 types in single and double configurations:
    • Up to VCEO = 100 V; IC = 15 A
  • Lower package resistance
    • Higher efficiency, less heat generation
  • High power dissipation (Ptot)
  • SOT-669 (LFPAK56): 5mm x 6mm x 1mm
    • 50% smaller outline of equivalent resistors in DPAK and SOT223
  • AEC-Q101 qualified
  • Ambient temperature range: -55°C to 175°C
