Nordic Semiconductor nPM1100 Power Management IC
Nordic Semiconductor nPM1100 Power Management ICs combine a USB-compatible input regulator, a 150 milliamp dual-mode configurable buck regulator, and a 400 milliamp battery charger in a 2.075 mm by 2.075 mm WLCSP package.
The nPM1100 is designed as a complementary component to Nordic’s nRF52 Series and nRF53 Series System-on-Chips. This design ensures reliable power delivery and stable operation while maximizing battery life through high efficiency and low quiescent currents.
The nPM1100 input regulator draws its power from either a 4.1 to 6.6V USB input or from a 2.3 to 4.35V connected battery input.
The Nordic nPM1100 Power Management ICs provide an extremely compact form factor that is ideal for size-constrained applications using rechargeable Lithium Ion or Lithium Polymer batteries such as wearables.
