NXP i.MX 8M application processors provide multimedia processing for streaming video, streaming audio, voice control, and voice assistant applications. The i.MX 8M features up to four Arm Cortex-A53 processors that can be powered down while an Arm Cortex-M4 performs low-power, real-time system monitoring. The processors offer an integrated video processing unit with support for the latest video codecs and HDR, a display controller that supports dual 4K displays, and twenty 32-bit audio channels at 384 kHz with DSD512 support. The i.MX 8M offers designers flexible memory options, high-speed interfaces for flexible connectivity, and is optimized for fanless operation, low thermal system cost, and long battery life.
