NXP Semiconductors i.MX RT1050 Crossover MCUs

NXP Semiconductors i.MX RT1050 Crossover MCUs are based on the Arm® Cortex®-M7 core and are designed to bridge the gap between the performance of application processors and the flexible usability of microcontrollers without increasing costs or power consumption.

The i.MX RT1050 supports product designs that include advanced multimedia for GUI and enhanced HMI experience.

Through extensive external memory interface options, i.MX RT processors support greater design flexibility. Having high-speed interfaces between external memory and on-the-fly decryption enables secure external data storage, eliminating the need for embedded Flash.

The processors support Ethernet and USB, as well as wireless standards such as Wi-Fi®, BLUETOOTH®, BLE, Zigbee®, and Thread™.

The NXP i.MX RT Crossover Processors also enable rapid prototyping with the NXP MCUXpresso SDK, which provides software libraries and online tools and support.
