NXP Semiconductors S32K312EVB-Q172 Evaluation Board

The S32K312EVBQ1 72 from NXP Semiconductors is an evaluation and development board for general-purpose industrial and automotive applications.

Based on the 32-bit Arm Cortex-M7 S 32 K 3 MCU, the eval board offers a single core mode, hardware security engine, and firmware over-the-air updates.

The S32K3 MCUs are scalable Arm Cortex®-M7 microcontrollers in single, dual, and lockstep core configurations that support up to ASIL D functional safety for automotive and industrial applications.

The S32K312EVB-Q172 includes an on-board debugger, CAN and LIN interfaces, touch pads, ADC potentiometer, a user RGB LED and push buttons as well as a 12-volt power connector, ARDUINO shield connectors, and a 10-pin JTAG connector.

The standard-based form factor is compatible with the Arduino® UNO pin layout, providing a broad range of expansion board options for quick application prototyping and demonstration.

Software features include free real-time drivers and configuration tools for AUTOSAR® and non-AUTOSAR users and ASIL D compliance, NXP-supplied SHE plus compliant security firmware designed for ISO 21434, S32 Safety Software Framework, and more.

The S32K312EVB-Q172 evaluation board is ideal in a variety of industrial and automotive applications such as automotive zone controllers, battery management systems, and electric pumps.
