AAC’s Digital Datasheet video series introduces the specs and applications of components—both new and familiar—straight from their datasheets.

P-Duke Power MPQ60W NPI Q1

P-Duke’s new MPQ60W series of medical-grade 60 Watt DC-to-DC converters provide high power density in a quarter-brick form factor.

These converters support inputs from 9 to 75 Volts DC and many unipolar and bipolar output voltages from 5 to 24 Volts.

The patented transformer design enables operation at high efficiencies of up to 92.5 %.

And, with an ultra-low leakage current below 4.5 microamps, the MPQ60W series can be used in the most challenging Type CF (cardiac floating) medical applications.

These DC/DC converters are housed in a plastic case and meet the 2 times MOPP classification with 5000 Volts AC reinforced isolation and 8 mm of clearance and creepage. Additional protections include under and over voltage, over current, short circuit, and over temperature.

The MPW60W series from P-Duke is certified to meet multiple medical and industrial specifications and is ideal for endoscopy, defibrillation, electrosurgical systems, dental offices, and air ambulances.

Every MPQ60W converter is manufactured to ISO 13485 standards to ensure it meets the high-reliability standards necessary for medical applications. The available ISO 14971 risk management file speeds certification of your designed equipment.
