Qorvo ACT41000 Low Noise DC-to-DC Buck Converter

The Qorvo ACT41000 Low Noise DC-to-DC Buck Converter has a programmable output and auxiliary bias supply regulators.

This synchronous step-down voltage regulator supports a wide input voltage of 4.5 to 40 volts and integrates both the high side and low side MOSFETS with an on-state resistance of 50 milliohms for high efficiency power conversions.

To power up a drain of GaN and GaAs Power Amplifiers, the ACT41000 supports a programmable output both in voltage and current setpoints and the device operates in constant-current and constant-voltage seamlessly.

The Qorvo® proprietary current-mode control uses its on-chip oscillator clock with spread-spectrum or an external clock to synchronize.

The precise 256-step current limit enables an MCU to detect precise quiescent current by eliminating a current sensor IC.

The ACT41000 is available in a 32-pin, 5 by 5 millimeter, thermally enhanced QFN package.
