RECOM Power RAC03-K Series AC/DC Converters

RECOM Power’s RAC03-K series of AC/DC converters are compact converters for worldwide use in always-on automation, Industry 4.0, IoT, and household applications.

The RAC03-K is an industry-leading 3W converter with a compact 1in2 footprint. The tiny modules offer a wide margin to Class B emissions limits without needing any external components, which keeps the total solution size to a minimum. They can operate from -40°C to +80°C, with the full 3W output up to 60°C and 2W up to 80°C. The modules accept a universal input of 85VAC to 264VAC at 47Hz to 63Hz, making them suitable for global use, and they convert this to a single output at common voltages from 3.3V to 24V.

The RAC03-K series is optimized for use in always-on applications. It supports Ecodesign Lot 6 standby mode operation and has no-load power consumption under 150mW. This results in minimized power consumption to help designers meet energy efficiency requirements for connected devices that are always powered on.

To support their use in a wide range of applications around the world, the converters have international safety certifications for industrial, domestic, ITE, and household use cases. They offer reinforced class II insulation and a 3kVAC isolation rating, have an internal fuse, and short circuit, overvoltage category II, and over current protection. The modules are also backed by a 3-year warranty.  To learn more about RECOM Power’s tiny RAC03-K 3W AC/DC converter, visit Mouser.com.
