Renesas Electronics RZ/V2L High Precision Entry-Level AI MPUs
Renesas Electronics RZ/V2L High Precision Entry-Level AI MPUs are general-purpose microprocessors equipped with Renesas' AI-dedicated accelerator for vision.
This DRP-AI, or Dynamically Reconfigurable Processor provides both real-time AI inference and image processing functions with the capabilities for camera support such as color correction and noise reduction and makes embedded AI easier and more power efficient.
The RZ/V2L also incorporates a 1.2 gigahertz dual-core Arm® Cortex®-A55 CPU, 3D graphics engine, and a video codec engine.
Excellent power efficiency eliminates the need for heat dissipation measures such as heat sinks or cooling fans.
With the RZ/V2L, AI can be implemented cost efficiently not only in surveillance cameras and industrial equipment, but also in a wide range of applications including home appliances and consumer electronics.
