Silicon Labs BG22 Wireless SoC Explorer Kit
Silicon Labs BG22 Wireless SoC Explorer Kit is an ultra-low-cost, small form factor development and evaluation platform for the EFR32BG22 Gecko Wireless BLUETOOTH® System-on-Chip.
With the EFR32BG22 Wireless Gecko SoC, a 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M33 MCU, and a high performance 2.4 GHz radio, the Explorer Kit provides the necessary tools for developing a Silicon Labs wireless application. The BG22 Explorer Kit includes a mikroBUS™ socket and Qwiic® connector, allowing users to add features to the kit with a large selection of off-the-shelf boards.
Programming the Silicon Labs BG22 Explorer Kit is easily done using a USB Micro-B cable and the onboard J-Link debugger. The BG22 provides a USB virtual COM port and Packet Trace Interface (PTI).
The BG22 Explorer Kit is supported in Simplicity Studio™ and a Board Support Package (BSP) is provided to give application developers a flying start.
