Skyworks’ SKY66114 is a fully integrated 2.4 GHz front-end module for Bluetooth Low Energy, 802.15.4, and ZigBee, making it easy to implement wireless communications in IoT applications. The SKY66114 is a small, 16-pin multi-chip module that integrates a high-efficiency power amplifier; high-gain LNA; transmit, receive, and bypass switches; and digital controls for a long-range, low-power solution that is easy to implement. The module offers very low sleep mode current and a fast switch-on-and-off time to extend battery life and operate from 1.2 V to 3.6 V, allowing direct operation from most battery chemistries and across their discharge curves. Single-ended transmit and receive interfaces simplify layout, with an available 4-layer reference layout and evaluation kit to support designers.
