This New Product Brief (NPB) is part of a video series highlighting the features, applications, and technical specs of newly-released products.
TAIYO YUDEN ME Series MCOIL™ Metal Power Inductors
Taiyo Yuden ME Series MCOIL Metal Power Inductors are small, low-profile wire-wound chip inductors with high current capability and low DC resistance, ideal for use as choke coils in power supply circuits for communication equipment and consumer devices.
The ME Series is available with max current ratings up to 5.4A. This is paired with low core loss and with DC resistance values as low as 17mΩ to ensure efficient operation. The inductors are offered in 0806 to 1008 EIA case sizes, with both sizes measuring 1.00mm thick.
Taiyo Yuden ME Series MCOIL Metal Power Inductors are available with inductance values from 0.24µH to 4.7µH with ±20% tolerance and are rated for operation from -40°C to +125°C.
