TDK BCL Inductors for Power Circuit

TDK’s BCL Inductors for Power Circuits are wound power inductors that meet AEC-Q200 qualification and support a rated voltage of 40V.

The coil is fully encapsulated with a magnetic material to minimize leakage flux. Due to the properties of the metallic materials, these inductors are able to withstand larger currents than traditional ferrite materials. The adoption of this new method results in a high inductance and low DC resistance.

These fixed inductors offer a 2.2 to 47uH inductance with 20% tolerance, a 0.064 to 1.40Ω maximum DC resistance, and a 0.57 to 3.45A rated current.

The BCL power inductors have an operating temperature range of  –55 to +155°C  and are ideal for automotive applications, including advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) - Level 5 for cameras.
