TE Connectivity ENTRELEC Terminal Blocks

TE Connectivity Entrelec DBL Power Distribution Blocks are a flexible, compact, and easy-to-use series of power distribution blocks designed for use in solar, industrial, and commercial installations.

The Entrelec DBL series can be used as a single- or multi-pole splitter, or blocks can be reversed for grouping multiple inputs into a single output.  The series includes options for round or flat conductors with 7 to 12 positions and easy jumpering for installations requiring additional inputs. There is also a 14-position variant optimized for use in combining up to12 photovoltaic strings into one output.

Specs and data are listed on the cover for easy reference, and the cover can open in both directions or be snapped on and off for easy wiring. It’s also reversible to keep the data and specs readable when a block is used in the reverse — or grouping — configuration.

Entrelec DBL series power distribution blocks are also compact, being 50% smaller than conventional bus bars.  Despite the small size, they offer current ratings from 80A to 550A. They accept copper or aluminum conductors and have a 1500VDC ratings for use in modern solar inverter installations.

These blocks are also designed for ease-of-use.  Blocks can be mounted on DIN rails or panels, and they have an interlocking piece on the housing to facilitate assembly of multiple blocks.  Each block includes pre-printed markers for fast and easy identification. The modular and touch-proof design eliminates the need for bus bars, isolators, fasteners, and protection screens, which can reduce assembly time by 80%.
