TE CONNECTIVITY HCF Aluminum Housed Braking Resistor

TE Connectivity's HCF Aluminum Housed Braking Resistors are wire wound power resistors designed and tested to absorb high power overloads.

These resistors come in four different models including the HCF80, HCF110, HCF166, and HCF216 that have power ratings from 75W to 200W, a maximum operating temperature up to 275oC, and resistance ranges from 4.7 ohms up to 1 kilohm.

Additional features include a tolerance as low as 5 percent, a maximum working voltage of 1100 V, an insulation resistance greater than 1,000 megaohms at 1000 VDCD, a dielectric withstanding voltage of 3500 VAC, and a temperature coefficient of resistance of 200 ppm per degree celsius.

The series has a slim, 15mm low profile that is ideal for applications where space is at a premium. TE Connectivity HCF Aluminum Housed Braking Resistors feature PTFE insulated flying leads for flexibility of connection and IP54 ingress protection carried out at a National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratory.
