TE Discrete Magnetics for Industrial Ethernet
TE Connectivity’s Discrete Magnetics for Industrial Ethernet provide designers with the flexibility to optimize the ethernet interface for harsh industrial applications.
Compared to jacks with integrated magnetics, the industrial discrete magnetics can provide improved EMI and overvoltage characteristics. The parts have an extended temperature range of negative 40 to positive 105 degrees Celsius and can be used in applications such as PLCs, IO modules, servo drives, and industrial PCs.
Single, dual, and quad-port parts are available with support for data rates up to 1 gigabit per second and options to support Power over Ethernet. TE offers the industrial discrete magnetics in closed coverage type surface-mount packages, with through-hole variants available.
The parts are also capable of reflow soldering at 260 degrees Celsius, enabling faster assembly as all parts can be soldered in a single step.
