Toshiba eFuse ICs

Toshiba’s TCKE800 series eFuse ICs provide fast, robust, and resettable protection against overcurrent and overvoltage events for industrial equipment, home appliances, consumer devices, and many other applications. The TCKE800 series has adjustable overcurrent clamping and a fast short circuit trip time under 200ns to ensure protection of sensitive electronics.

The ICs can handle output current up to 5.0A and have very low on-state resistance to minimize device power dissipation. They also have a fixed overvoltage clamp, programmable under-voltage lockout, reverse current blocking with an external MOSFET, and inrush current protection with a programmable slew rate.

The TCKE800 series operates from a 4.4V to 18V supply and is housed in a small WSON package for high-density designs.
