Toshiba Gate Driver + MOSFET for 5-24V Line Power MUX
The Toshiba TCK42 series gate driver ICs are designed to power and control the gate voltage of an external Common Drain N-channel MOSFET, creating a load switch with high efficiency.
This series supports the back-to-back connection of external N-channel MOSFETs for reverse-current blocking. This is an important feature in applications that require main power supplies
to have backup supplies.
Compared with the standard 5 mm x 6 mm sized MOSFET, a common drain MOSFET configuration offers 75% space saving.
Built-in slew rate control and discharge functions helps this series offer a 3ms start-up time which helps simplify timing control without additional devices. This series has improved drive and discharge capabilities which help to turn on and off MOSFETs faster.
The TCK42 series is designed to support power lines from 5V to 24V.
Each product is equipped with under-voltage and over-voltage lockout functions to ensure normal operation.
