Vishay’s T34 Wet Tantalum HI-TMP capacitors are life tested to up to 2000 hours at 200 degrees celsius.

This episode of Tech Specs is part of a video series highlighting the features, applications, and technical specs of newly-released products.

Vishay T34 Wet Tantalum HI-TMP Capacitors

Vishay’s T34 Wet Tantalum HI-TMP capacitors are life tested to up to 2000 hours at 200 degrees celsius. The capacitors use a tantalum case with a glass-to-tantalum hermetic seal and axial leads, and they tolerate high vibration and mechanical shock, making them perfect for high temperature, high stress environments like petroleum exploration or the most extreme industrial applications. The T34 series is offered with voltage ratings up to 70 volts DC at 200 degrees, and up to 125 volts at 85 degrees while capacitance values range between 10 and 680 microfarads, with 20% tolerance standard and 10% tolerance available. So if your design requires you to look beyond the more pedestrian 125 degree capacitors for long life, high capacitance, and high performance, you need Vishay’s T34 Wet Tantalum HI-TMP Capacitors.

  • 1000 or 2000 hour life test at +200°C
  • Tantalum case, glass-to-tantalum hermetic seal
